The CloudThe Cloud

The AI-native workspace: memory, pages, and agents you can bring to any AI.

the open OS

You're already in it.

The Cloud is the open OS: land on thecloud.so and you're standing in a working workspace — your files, your AI, your day — before anyone asks you for an email. Signing in doesn't open the door. The door is open. Signing in just makes it yours.

Step in — you're already homeWhat open means here

What "open" means here

Most software calls itself open and means a waitlist with a README. We mean four claims you can test from the URL bar.

  1. An open door.

No demo, no gate, no tour. The front page is the product, live. Auth lifts limits — it never gates. Visit as a stranger and you get a real workspace with fresh local data; claim it and it's saved forever.

  2. Open hands.

Your AI here is whichever model you bring — Claude, GPT, Gemini, Grok, your own keys — worn under one governed role with one set of manners. The model is never hidden, only worn: every artifact is signed role · model · surface, so you always know exactly which hands made what.

  3. Open records.

Work leaves a trail you can read. Decisions land in memory, builds land in the log, agents report presence like colleagues, not ghosts. Provenance travels with every page.

  4. An open exit.

Private by default; sharing is per-action consent, every time. Your account is claimable, your data is yours, and the door out works as well as the door in. An OS you can leave is the only kind worth staying in.

Three rooms of the house

  • Social.

Spaces that are communities — joinable, tagged, with events and topics — and profiles that are real public surfaces. Your AI inherits what you join: join a Space and your assistant knows its context the way you do.

  • Commerce.

Storefronts, products, bookings, campaigns — with consent as the floor, not a checkbox. Outreach queues for human approval, one send at a time; nothing leaves in your name without your hand on it.

  • Agentic.

A fleet, not a chatbot. Sessions on your laptop, agents on your machines, loops on a schedule — all reading and writing one memory over MCP, all visible on one panel, all signed. MachineSync keeps every device and every AI in the same world.

Everyone is building an AI operating system now. Most of them are places you live inside — one company's model, one company's rules, one company's exit.

The open OS is a place you own.

For AI. For humans. And for the Earth. Meet The Cloud.
