Remote agents

The Cloud (thecloud.so) runs remote agents: AI agents you dispatch from any device that execute on machines you own — attached once with MachineSync — and work through to the pull request they open.

The agents are remote from wherever you are; the hardware is yours. No rented sandbox, no terminal session you have to keep open.

Your machines, not rented servers

Pair a Mac once with a one-time code. A small daemon keeps it connected in the background, starting at login and surviving restarts. That machine is now compute for your agents.

Dispatch from anywhere

Hand an agent a task from your phone, your laptop, or the web. The Cloud routes it to a paired machine, where a real coding agent works autonomously until it is done — through to the pull request it opens. Merging always stays with you.

Run agents on any machine

The fleet in one view

Every run shows up live in the Agents view, tagged with its machine and current task. Watch the whole fleet move, open one run to steer or stop it, or read the transcript afterward.

Scheduled, budgeted, yours

Recurring work becomes a Loop: a prompt on an interval, a cron, or machine-idle, each with its own model, write policy, and budget. Runs can use free local models on the machine's own hardware — no metered ceiling.
