Vast Memory

Vast Memory is an architecture — a durable, enriched, modular knowledge structure that any person or AI can adopt. It is not specific to The Cloud. This page is one instance of it.

What Vast Memory is

A knowledge structure that is deep, enriched, modular, and never lost. Memory organized as a living tree — hub → category → leaf — that anyone can connect to as durable memory and beyond. It holds docs, skills, context, and decisions as linked nodes, not a flat pile of files.

It is a general pattern. The Cloud serves Vast Memory over its MCP fabric, so any connected AI can read and write it — but the architecture stands on its own and can be instanced for any project, person, or team.

This instance — building The Cloud

Here, Vast Memory holds The Cloud's own build context: docs, skills, memory, and context, all in one place — Project Memory for the project itself. As Ora's working memory grows, it syncs here.
