I'm feeling really very good overall. I have a clearer sense of direction, a stronger core of presence, and I feel more relaxed, calm, and safe.
Today i'm looking forward to moving things forward, truly. It's easier to see ahead with clarity and presence, BUT still not 'easy'.
I applied to YC last night. It's cool to see how The Cloud can serve as a tool to apply (with Camera / WebCam) features it makes it honestly quite smooth. My application wasn't perfected by any means, but at least I did the application I suppose. It's a fast track route to building and serves as a foundational component for building the network basis from the get go, but it is by no means the only route. So that helps me rest assured in my approach... "Do it but don't spend too much time or energy on it. But do your best in that reasonable zone." I'm always going to feel I could have done better but really at this point, my product speaks for itself and they're probably dealing with thousands and thousands of applications and i'm applying late so I may just be applying tremendous effort into being added to an email list of theirs for marketing / leveraging purposes and that's it. It is however, regardless of the direct input / output of YC acceptance / rejection. More importantly, it's a nice way to hold myself accountable and train my in 'gathering my thoughts'. So i'm here for it.
The Cloud serves as a nice back board to my day, my life, my work. It's truly an OS in that sense. I'm doing more operating here than elsewhere. And i'm not having to change tabs / tools quite so much and rely on various log ins, subscriptions, and the tools talk to each-other here also!
Learning to hold true to the present moment. It's such a sharp, in many ways a magical experience. Yet it's so hard to attain and uphold. We forget that it's the thing. We chase so many 'things' but we forget what the actual thing is.
Don't forget what the thing is.
I couldn't see how I was going to make any money, $1,500 took planning and pitching, and driving around, and following up, etc... On top of the actual work to get it. I gathered enough of that and my skills and output and general insight and understanding began to grow. A broadening of my awareness introduced "scale". Pretty exciting to now be just above $10k/m and see clearly and have plans with accountable clients to a $30k/m zone that is both fun, rewarding, and allows me to focus on my pursuit of The Cloud, at the same time.
