Custom Jewelry & Stone Cutting
Jarex is an artist whose medium is in fine metals and precious stones. Over the past decade, he has cultivated a rare, self-sufficient practice in which each piece is imagined, designed, and constructed entirely by his own hand from sourcing raw gemstones and precious metals to casting, carving, and finishing. Everything is created in-house.
He coined the term polysmith to describe this hybrid identity: a craftsman who works fluidly across lost disciplines and tools, capable of executing every stage of production from start to finish. It’s a title that reflects not just versatility, but a lost art—a dedication to concentration, focus, detail, and precision.
Before entering the world of high-end jewelry, Jarex was immersed in sound. As a music producer and engineer, he spent the first part of his adult life building a career around making music , tone and composition. When he lost his hearing unexpectedly, he was forced to let go, and redirect his life.
What followed was not just reinvention, but rather a transformation. He began to channel the same energy and focus once reserved for sound into form. Jewelry became a new language, one rooted in silence, precision, and material.
In his studio, his process is in creating sculptural works that carry both beauty and resonance. Influenced by philosophy, mysticism, alchemy, and science, many of his pieces hold the presence of talismans, objects meant to carry meaning, memory, or protection.
For Jarex, making is a form of listening. His approach is deeply personal, exacting, and intentional. An alchemic process in which nothing is rushed and nothing is overlooked.
"The value of a product should be determined by how hard it is for others to replicate."
Beauty is not in the eye of the beholder - its in the object, waiting to be beheld.
