Voicelings · Monday task: User Completion Certificate System
Students are the distribution. They post a certificate to social for reach, they put a badge on their own website that links back to us, and the email flow keeps handing out certificates long after launch week. The member-area section is called Certificates. The public page is voicelings.com/certification. The point of all of it is advocacy.
Read this before you start on anything else.
5 designs. 11 files. 2 pages. Three certificate designs each exported three ways, plus a launch graphic and a site badge. The two pages are the member-area download page and the public certification page.
| Format | Size | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| 9:16 image | 1080 × 1920 | The social post. Stories and Reels. This is the main one. |
| 9:16 video | 1080 × 1920 | Same design, animated. Reels. Silent, must read with sound off. |
| 16:9 image | 1920 × 1080 | Email hero. Creative to confirm final dimensions. |
| Site badge | 600 × 600 | One only. Transparent PNG, displays at about 140px. This is what goes on a student's own website. |
| 1:1 image | 1080 × 1080 | One only. The launch graphic, used in the group post and on social. |
These are final. Do not rewrite them.
Vertical shown. The wide 16:9 is the same design re-laid-out, not a new one. Layout and copy hierarchy only — brand colours, type and character energy come in at the design pass. Bold and playful, big type, no seals or gold. The word "certificate" goes on the page, never on the graphic.
Small on purpose. The badge exists to get pasted, not to be admired.
About
A voice actor will paste a small badge into a credits row without thinking about it. They will not paste a full-size certificate into their layout, and the certificate we most want linked is the one they never get round to adding. Adoption is the whole ballgame — the backlink only exists if the badge actually goes up.
So the badge is hosted on our server, and the member area gives students a snippet they paste as-is. That guarantees the link is right and lets us change the badge art later without asking anyone to re-upload.
Plus a plain-language fallback for anyone who cannot paste HTML: download the badge, add it to your page, link it to voicelings.com/certification.
One page at voicelings.com/certification. Everyone links to the same address — it explains what the certification is, it does not verify an individual.
Two things happen when someone clicks a badge. We get a backlink from a real site in our industry, and the visitor lands on a page that sells the Academy. So this page does double duty: credential explainer and indexable sell page, the same way the scholarship page works.
What it means when a voice actor has completed the Voicelings Voice Acting Academy with Tara Strong.
This block is the SEO body. Real prose, not bullets — it is what search actually indexes.
One line on how the Academy works and what it costs.

No gating, no personalization, nothing dynamic. These are files sitting on a page.
Written and final. There is nothing for the student to fill in — they hit copy, paste, post.

Two parts. The launch, and the flow that keeps working after launch week.
On launch day: a post in the community group using the 1:1 launch graphic, and an email blast to the whole list using the 16:9 hero.
Then the flow takes over. This is the part that matters. Launch week gets a spike; the flow is what keeps certificates going out to every new student for the next year without anyone doing anything.
| Trigger | What the email says | Certificate it carries |
|---|---|---|
| On signup | Welcome — here is something to post. | I joined Voicelings |
| 90 days after joining | Did you complete the course? | Voice Acting Academy |
| After a 1:1 | Trigger still to be defined. | 1:1 Training with Tara |
The 90-day email is a re-engagement email wearing a certificate as a costume. It reaches students who stalled and gives them a reason to go finish — which is worth more than the certificate itself.
Four people, sixteen hours between them.
| Who | Est. | What |
|---|---|---|
| Jake | 7 hours | Design. 3 certificate designs in vertical, video and wide, plus the site badge, plus the 1:1 launch graphic, plus one line of alt text each. Start with the Academy one. |
| Jaro | 6 hours | Two pages. The public certification page in section 4 and the member download page in section 5, plus hosting the badge and the search setup on the public page. |
| Natalie | 2 hours | Announcement and flow. The group post, the launch blast, and the three triggered emails — all in section 7. |
| Jeremy | 1 hour | Social channels. Post the launch graphic, then reply to every student who posts a certificate. |
| Total | 16 hours | Across five weeks. Body copy for the certification page is not in this number — see section 10. |
Jake and Jaro run at the same time. Jaro does not wait for designs — he builds with placeholder images and swaps the real files in later.
Bars are calendar windows, not hours of effort. Amber is a gate — nothing downstream of it starts until it clears. The gap after 4 September is review and buffer.
| Due | Who | What is done by then |
|---|---|---|
| Fri 14 Aug | John | Tara has said yes to her name being on a graphic students post publicly. This blocks two of the three designs. |
| Fri 21 Aug | Jake | All 3 certificates in vertical, video and wide, plus the badge and the launch graphic. Sent for review. |
| Fri 21 Aug | Jaro | Both pages built with placeholder images and placeholder copy. |
| Fri 28 Aug | Jaro | Real files and real copy dropped in, badge hosted, search setup done, whole thing ready to review. |
| Fri 4 Sep | Natalie | Group post drafted, launch blast written, and the triggered emails live in the flow. |
| Fri 4 Sep | Jeremy | Social launch post written and scheduled. |
| Tue 15 Sep | Everyone | Live to students. Group post goes up, blast goes out. |
Each row is due end of day. If you are going to miss one, say so on the Monday task that week, not the week after.
An "I attended Voicelings Legends Live" certificate. Same shape, one design, three exports, no new build.
